The sun, setting behind me, shines through the sliding glass doors, through the door from the dining room to the kitchen, and reflects off the kitchen window, making it appear that the sun is setting in the northeast. This is a phenomenon that occurs only twice a year for a very few days each time and a very few minutes each day. All the usable pictures I got today were taken within a 5-minute span when the alignment was nearly perfect. The last such photos I got were January 4, not posted here.
