I LIKE THIS KATHY BECAUSE IT'S SO DAINTY & I'VE BEEN IN GLENDALE. BRINGS MEMORIES OF 20 YEARS AGO. SOOOO PRETTY. RED & GREEN LOOK SO DELICIOUS TOGETHER. LOVE THE BRIGHT LIGHTING & THE BEE. HE'S IN FLOWER HEAVEN. AFTER LOOKING AT THIS I DON'T NOTICE WINTER HERE AT ALL. AN EASY '10' & HATS OFF TO YOUR 'AC'. KEEP SENDING..WE LOVE FAIRY DUSTERS. LOVE & MISCHIEF.

Glad you found my desert flowers, Helen! I believe this is a cultivated variety of the wild plant called fairy duster, which looks a lot like miniature mimosa, but is much smaller and paler in color than either of those. Thanks for commenting!

These look almost like our powderpuff flowers back East, or even bottlebrush, which the bees love too. Like Durward said, we'll just call them beautiful!
