I just had to post this, even though it isn't good. I wasn't ready, lol. I sat on a fallen tree in the woods for the longest watching this owl. It swooped down a couple times to catch something. Well, I kinda got half of it in this pic :)

It's actually kind of a great shot! The face is in focus just enough that there is no confusing what we're looking at. The bulk of the bird is still in frame, leading the viewer in the direction of the motion. Pretty cool!
