We had a red-bone hound dog that loved to kill snakes. He would circle around them and grab them by the tail and crack them like a whip until their head flew off. The good Lord made a major mistake when he created snakes and humans it appears.

Now I have proof my sister is crazy, maybe she'll qualify for a crazy check.. That is unless Romey wins the election.

Well.. Apparently, I can't spell crazy or I have fat fingers. lol

I'm familiar with the moccasins in north Florida, and they are aggressive and territorial. They either stand their ground or go after you! I'm terrified of poisonous snakes! Their camouflage is very effective and so it's really hard to see them in their natural environment. Be very careful, Delana!

Thanks Charlotte for the comment! A couple of feet, and they aren't that afraid here. I really think they can see themselves in the camera lens and come toward it...or maybe they just want to get me, lol. I've had several that seemed really interested in the camera :)

How close did it get to you? It was not afraid of you? The moccasins around here avoid you as soon as they see you.
