It is a desert animal of an extincting species. Even experts in different zoos sometimes fail to raise it. The Safari zoological park has now a healthy couple that is fertile and produced one female kitten about a year ago and now raising 4 additional kitten. So, I suspect that they will not be great pets and would die in most houses. They are also very sensitive to several kind of germs that the domestic cat lives with very well.
