shenandoah, IA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Storms brewing in the afternoon, made for some spectacular sky viewing..this storm cell quickly moved north-northeast,with a possible tornado outside of Essex,[Ia] a few miles northeast of this location...So,,we got to watch it all form. Cells to the east-southeast also formed along the line...some hail cells apparently in the area as well...we did not have any severe weather, even though they sounded the siren,,funny enough,,nothing was going on in Shenandoah.a few drops of rain, and lightning

Interesting to see this storm cell from the other side. I could see the whisps coming down in the front from east of the valley. Your image looks pretty wild Mindi!! And you caught it just before sundown, nice job.

Strange, that looks familiar!! LOL What a special treat last night was. We were surrounded with photo opps! Be sure to check out Kim's shot of the other side of the storm that went west of us. This gets my vote! and a 10.

About BEME

BEME

Hi KIDDIES!!! O.K.,,there seems to be a bit of confusion about this photo,,,I AM on the left,,a gal!![MINDI],,and the right-hand pic is of BOB my hubby!! I cloned the two images together,,of us taking pics of each other,,so we could give you folks an idea of who we are,,replacing the previous photo of our two favorite eagle family youngsters...We live in Shenandoah,Ia.,,and enjoy [especially me] taking lots of pictures!! I do most of the posting on here,,that's MY thing..and I try to put up Bobs when he takes some good ones...I would also like for you to check out the older ones from time,to time,,I like to share my images,,though not always the greatest,,just to give you an idea what life is sometimes like here in S.W. Iowa.. I came out here from the East Coast and interior New England, where I lived until 1992,,I also lived in Philly for a few years, and Bob is born and raised here in Shenandoah.,,but loves other places that we have visited too. I am happy to have found this site to learn how to take better photos,,meet new people, and make new friends, and be dazzled by what folks share of their 'world'in pictures on here. THANK YOU WuNDERGROUND! I appreciate all your kind words and mail, and critique as much as I enjoy giving back in kind! SHARE THE LOVE!!
