Round Lake, NY (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Tiny ice crystals in the atmosphere catch the light from ground sources & the rising moon to create these nighttime ice pillars. Don't see this very often in clear weather around here.

I agree with Kat. I like this one a little
better because of the composition and the
moon beam. Well done, both of them.

Either of these could easily wear a blue border.

I might even like this one better than the other
one. Fabulous...both of them!

About AndyMackUpstateNY

I have been in the habit of coming to this site to check out everybody else's pictures, I figured it's about time to contribute as well. More of a 'weathergeek', but I'm also an amateur pic-taker using mostly my Canon Rebel t3, or occasionally a Canon PowerShot A720 point & shoot. I'm no pro, but do catch a decent scene or two every now & then. Feel free to comment or write! I'd love to hear your tips & suggestions.Create your own visitor map!
