A wonderful series! Can't remember seeing pelicans without their companion cormorant. A farmer once told me that pelicans stopped by his pond. The lead pelican, the "black" one sat up in a tree and watched over them. LOL 10 from SW Iowa

About AUphoto

AUphoto

As the son of a farmer in southern Alabama, I was raised with the land. I try to capture the beauty of the outdoors, the circle of life, wildlife and birds but also love to travel ocassionally and see what I can capture through the lens. I am married to dixiedaughter and we can often be seen in the same place with cameras in hand. I am amazed how two differnet people can capture the same scene in different fashion. We love the interaction of this site and always appreciate your comments. Thanks for sharing our world and letting us share in yours!
