Cute~! These are also done in Louisville, KY around Derby Time (first Saturday in May). They are placed all over the city and then, after Derby, are auctioned off as a fund raising event. Someone even bought one and brought it to Frankfort, about 60 miles away.

Very artistic for you both!
I was in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2006 where they had the "Cow Parade". Many cow statues were all over the city, which had been painted by different artists. This parade has been in many cities around the world. Some of the statues are chosen to make the cow figurines. You may read more about this at:

We had two series of these horses done a couple of years ago and people and businesses bid on them as a fundraiser. Some were on private property and some at restaurants. Some were really creative as is this one.

Hello My name is Chrissy and I am married 47 years and a mother and grandmother. I am retired and have taken up photography as a hobby. Living in the heart of the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, there is plenty of interesting subject matter to photograph.I have discovered that taking pictures can be very addictive,so my camera is always by my side. I love seeing photography from all different areas of this country and the world, and appreciate all comments on my own pictures. This is a wonderful community and I am so glad that this site is available to share my pictures and learn, and interact with others.
