It's a section listed under Photos & Videos, just under Photo Galleries. It describes itself as being "A weekly pictorial review of weather around the globe submitted by the WunderPhoto community." and the photos are really huge. Different photos are posted in it every Monday. Again...congratulations!! Kathy

To everyone who has so kindly left me comments I wish to say thank you! It was just an after thought to post this image here, mainly because it is truly weather related.

A little back story on the image. I had just emerged from my tornado shelter, although we didn't get hit, it was pretty wild looking outside, it was a mess out in the yard but it was the sky that got my attention. I literally watched those clouds form, and that is why I think they are so pretty, they were only minutes old. What was really so weird was that for a few minutes preceding their formation we had a sudden fog, I went to that area because there was fog all over and not in other areas, then the fog lifted as fast as it came in and those clouds formed. I think it must have been the down draft. My camera was already in my hands because I took it with me when I went into the tornado shelter, so I did what came naturally.

Thank you all so much for the ratings and very nice words!

Simply amazing! Whenever we get mammatus clouds here, they aren't as nearly well-defined....I appreciate these particular weather shots because they teach me, as well as inspire. Thank you so much for sharing your work.

Best mammatus clouds I've seen....you should submit the photos to a meteorologist or scientific magazine or something, as the creme-de-la-creme example of such clouds.

Fantastic Mammatus clouds. I live west of the Metroplex and got some Mammatus clouds Saturday, but nothing as impressive as these. These are the best I've ever seen and I've seen a lot. FYI ... I saw this picture on Flickr on your Flickr page. Great photos.

Wow.... Outstanding.
I wonder why these clouds are called mammatus. Could it be perhaps, that they look like mammary glands? Just a thought, guess there's always google.
