I'LL BET THIS OLD GEEZER FEELS 'TWO TIRED'!! WHAT A WONDERFUL MEMORY WE HAVE FOR THIS STEEL STALLION. I CAN EVEN HEAR THE CARDBOARD FLAPPING ON THE SPOKES! MY FIRST TEMPORARY ESCAPE FROM MY PARENTS! AS USUAL, U DO THAT VOODOO SOOO WELL. PERFECT SHADOWS & SHADES OF COLOR. SAND, CYCLE & SKY ...IT MAKES US (WELL WHAT'S THE WORD?).. OH YES, ...SIGH! OR CRY!
THIS OLD ONE-SPEED GETS MY '10' & MY 'AC'. KEEP SENDING...WE LOVE YOUR VERSION OF 'RE-CYCLING'. LOVE & MISCHIEF.

Looks like the bikes newspaper carriers used to ride when I was a kid. This photo evokes a simpler time. And the warm tones make it seem like a better time which, in some ways, it was.

Mmm, yes, there is that element of pathos, but also a greater aura of self sufficiency, despite whatever obstacles may be in this person's life. Very cool image, Debra. You've got my personal AC for this!

Thanks for writing Trudy and Mark! This bicycle was rather sad, so old and beat-up, probably the sole transportation of it's owner, locked up to the edge of the fishing pier.

I really like this Debra. It speaks to me in many ways; sadness, a hope for the future, being obsolete...or maybe I'm just nuts. Either way, great composition.
