Thanks everyone so much. What a night. There is a super restaurant in NJ that we went for dinner. It overlooks the city skyline which was my goal for the evening. I really wasn't sure if the moon was going to rise over the city when I got there but when I asked the waiter he said that last night it did so I knew I was in for a treat. We ate outside and I had my tripod and camera set up. They don't bother you at all and let me take my photos. Just so exciting.

Quoting SunsetSailor:
Whoo Hoo!

I know that took some planning...being in the right place on a clear full moon night, with all your equipment and talent and skills is not often just a happy coincidence.

Ditto!!
