Fire is necessary for life, I see comments like "hideous" and "horrifying". Without fire, we wouldn't be here. Now if it was a fire set by someone out of carelessness I can understand the frustration, but if it was a lightning strike fire, then let nature be nature. Great capture by the way, not trying to rant, just don't like negative comments from such a positive natural event.

Wowser! That's even more scary than the ones I took and posted a week ago when it started. You had a good high point of view. We're still getting smoke at times in Taos, almost daily.
