This stuff was wicked heavy. I finally had to breakdown and pay someone to come plow for me. It took him about 45 minutes to move it all. We ended up with almost 30". Some of the snow drifts were 4 feet or so. I still haven't dug out my deck that is thigh high in some places. The snow is up to my windows. My husband is disabled so we keep our truck in back of our house by our handicap ramp and I still haven't dug that our yet. My son went to work but will help dig it out tonight I hope. If not, I'm here til June. LOL!! I'm soooooo ready for spring.

Oh, I sooo do not want to EVER see snow that deep around here EVER again. Our biggest snow here in SE Ky. was in the blizzard of '93 when we got 27 inches on Friday night into Saturday, and by Monday afternoon, half of it had melted off. I will appreciate our meager 4 inches and go on. Love the caption, by the way. LOL

You look like we did after the Thanksgiving storm that hit Minnesota. 21.5 inches measure where we live in the South Metro Twin Cities area.

I reposted your picture in my wunderblog for all my Minnesota readers. I gotta say that picture says it all about the East Coast Tristate Snow Storm.

Debbie, by all means, yes if you can figure how to send us some snow, we would gladly take half of it. The ski resorts around here would love your for it.
Hope your son can shake that flu soon. Feel sorry for him.

Too late CalicoBass he's already wicked sick. He's had the flu for 4 days now but he wants to go to work tomorrow. He finally had to give up because we have drifts of 4 feet so we just had a friend of his with a plow come and rescue us. I have walls of snow you could hide a truck behind. LOL!!

About stoneygirl

stoneygirl

My name is Debbie and I live in Central Massachusetts. I am a mom of 2, a grandma to Jace and a "Mama Stone" (as I'm called) to about 25 rental kids as I call them. I consider myself to be a serious maybe even (as all my kids would say, "Obsessed" photographer. If it moves I photograph it, if breaths I photograph it, if it doesn't breath I photograph it and if it doesn't move I photograph it even more. Ok, so my kids are right, I'm obsessed. I never leave home with out it, my camera that is. I've always loved photography but as I've headed into my mid-life crisis period I have begun to open my eyes to more of the wonder around me. Why it took so long I don't know but look out world I have arrived. Now I have a thirst to make up for lost time and I love Wunderground and all of the wunderful photographers I get to share my world with. I absolutely love seeing everyones photos from around the world and for that I thank all of you for your wonderful generosity for sharing them with me and us on this great site. Smile say cheese now!!Large Visitor Globe
