Davie, FL (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Sept 28, 2012:Everglades Holiday Park, Broward County Florida. They are pumping all this water from Lake Okeechobee down the canals into the Everglades just flooding the Everglades. That is why too much rain is not good.

Skye, thanks that would be wonderful.
Let me know in WU mail in case I don't get
out on the blogs to see it.

It is very meaningful when you see all that water being dumped into the already flooded
Everglades....

Too much rain is just as devastating as not enough rain.

Whoo hoo, Gams! A VIP pic!

I see you also took a shot of one of my distant relatives on that weathered board.

WOW, I have not been back here since I posted the pictures. Thank you all for your comments!

It has been raining all last night (3.8" last night) and off and on heavy rains again today.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures!

After reading your mini-bio, please do not think that there are "pros" in these galleries. Whether somebody puts a garish, look-at-me copyright watermark on a picture or not, the posted photos are all indeed amateur, as you will come to see, and eventually the photos look pretty much the same, season to season. However, some people have been at it longer than others, so it shows. If you take a community college beginning photography class, that will bring you to feel as though you are at or above the "pro" level you see in these galleries. Good for you.

I'll go along with that (too much rain is not good)- we are still suffering from the effects of the flooding from Debby up here in Lake City. Contaminated well, sewer still not not able to take much..... Rain is good, but not 36" in a month.

I love anything to do with weather and being around people talking about the weather and I love this site. And I have discovered a love of photography; of course, I'm very much an amature but with the help of some of the pros here my pictures are getting a little better. Also, I love my family. Hubby, grown kids and spouses, and of course the grandkids are my life! Create your own visitor map!
