Thomson, GA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Rural East Central Georgia, (Thomson,GA.) the morning after our 5-6 inch snow storm of Feb. 12th and 13th. After moving here last July from Wisconsin, most of my neighbors assured me 'Snow, if any, will only be a dusting!' Well, at least it's as Beautiful as it was in Wisconsin. Perhaps the rarity makes it even more so...

Hello Everyone, I was born and raised in Wisconsin though I've done a fair share of traveling. At 48, I was forced into early retirement by "A Doctor's Error" and in July of 2009 I relocated from Wisconsin to Georgia. (They told me the winters were warmer and "No Snow." Since moving, we've all, not just I, have experienced a Much Colder Than Normal Winter, and SNOW where it just wasn't suppose to happen...LOL Thank God my Wisconsin blood hasn't thinned too much! LOL Take Care Richard T. (P.S. Can I say "I LOVE WeatherUnderground!"?
