Now that I see it again I have to comment again - the muted colors and the transition from focus to the background - perfect! (The seven sidedness must be a characteristic of the lens)

Beautiful images, both of them, Maxa! The reflective spots are 7-sided because of something about the camera or lens aperture, not the light itself. Congratulations on your AC!

Very pretty, Maxa! but I'm curious - why are the reflective spots 7-sided? I know that snow crystals have six sides - where does the 7 come from?
