After a long week of storms, large waves and hardly winds, today the waves reached the 7-8 meters of height. On the Lighthouse of Mouro the large waves struck all day. With sun or without him; other times rain or cloudy.I remained 3 or 4 hours carrying out photos. WIND information: www.windguru.com

HISTORY/Caption: The island mouro lighthouse... The last incident of certain importance happened in February of 1996 when the system of lighting remained destroyed by a temporary one, remaining dull several days by the impossibility of agreeing to him. The Island of Mouro, declared reserves marine, is a habitual place of I dive. The waves that whip it in days of temporary they are used to surpassing the height of the lighthouse. Their light is situated to 38,7 m. above sea level.
