The moon didn't stand a chance when the aurora began their glorious, colorful dance across the sky.
I saw colors in the night sky I had NEVER seen before.

Thanks for sharing the beauty of Alaska!!
It can be so difficult to stay on the roadway when this happens, as you can imagine.
The "Luck O' the Irish". Congratulations on this great AC!
You are so right Gil, talk about the right place, the right time, and the right lens!
CONGRATULATIONS on this magic beauty !!!
photos. It is so exciting to see them and you
get that X 1,000,000! Thank you SO much for
sharing with us! I can't even imagine what it
would be like to stand where you are. Wow!
It's so interesting that, even though the
Aurora seems bright, you can see the stars
right through them! And those colors! Different
than any I have seen, even in pictures. I have
already been in your series for fifteen
minutes, so I'm not going to comment on each
one, but I love every one and they are all 10s!
Congratulations on your new Blue!
Oh...and I LOVE the title!
what lens are you using for these beautiful photos
Can you believe these aurora Nancy? Isn't it wonderful? It's got all the local folks chattering.
wow Katy you were treated to quite a show. We have visability of less than a half mile with snow and very high winds, and all we have had lately is clouds so even if they were in the area we coold not have seen them. Darn it. I am sick of snow and wind.
Brian
night of it!
Congratulations, Katy, on your AC.
