Wow, what a glorious sight! GREAT captures, every one!!! It must have been a thrill to experience, and now you have a beautiful record of it! We saw reds and oranges just once many years ago in Illinois and I never forgot it. Congratulations!

wow Katy you were treated to quite a show. We have visability of less than a half mile with snow and very high winds, and all we have had lately is clouds so even if they were in the area we coold not have seen them. Darn it. I am sick of snow and wind.

I just bought a wide angle zoom 11-16mm f2.8 lens, it's a real charmer!

Can you believe these aurora Nancy? Isn't it wonderful? It's got all the local folks chattering.

OMG, Katy! I am almost giddy looking at these
photos. It is so exciting to see them and you
get that X 1,000,000! Thank you SO much for
sharing with us! I can't even imagine what it
would be like to stand where you are. Wow!
It's so interesting that, even though the
Aurora seems bright, you can see the stars
right through them! And those colors! Different
than any I have seen, even in pictures. I have
already been in your series for fifteen
minutes, so I'm not going to comment on each
one, but I love every one and they are all 10s!
Congratulations on your new Blue!
Oh...and I LOVE the title!

Thanks Dorothy and Kathy. No Kathy I didn't hear a thing, except a lonely truck out on the night highway going by v e r y s l o w l y !

It can be so difficult to stay on the roadway when this happens, as you can imagine.
