Can't imagine what these temps must feel like on the face. I wonder what your usual daytime temps are.

Thanks for stopping by Sharon and Betsy.

Betsy, all of the temps happening lately are 'normal.' Sometimes you have to wear a parka with a snorkel hood, or a heavy scarf wrapped around, sometimes you don't.

This day, you don't.

The parka in my portrait has a snorkel hood, if I zip it all the way there is only a small peep hole for vision. Very warm and snug.

About katy99780
katy99780 I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I really love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
