It stands to reason that snow would be 'big & beautiful' in such a large northern place as Alaska (and other places where the mountains reach the sky!). This is such a wonderful series and I'm looking forward to the winter wonderland photos you're going to be taking soon! Julie in Ohio

I guess those clouds mean it will look even
more like winter in your shots tomorrow.
Stay warm, Katy, and keep snapping. Just because
I don't want the stuff here doesn't mean it
doesn't look awesome there! Gorgeous, snowy

About katy99780

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
