This is really cool. We have possums hanging around our house but I've never gotten this good of a look at one. I'm impressed with dutchie's nerves. Our cat dissolves into a puffed up growling monster when they come up to the house. This is with a window between them.

Nice shot Joe, I never noticed how their toes look so human. They are one of the creepiest buggers around here.

One winter we had a possum, "Mr. Fugly", and a skunk, "Miss Peppita" come to the bird feeder together every night. I think they were dating.

Miss Peppita was mostly black with a thin white line running down her back and she had a big white spot on the top of her head, she looked like she was wearing a hat. All skunks are not typically all black with a white stripe. We had a white skunk with a black stripe down his back one time.

That's the first up close and personal I have ever seen a possum's foot...almost like a human hand! These guys have almost disappeared from our neck of the woods, and no one seems to know why...not that I miss them much. Just seems weird.
