A lot of memories from this old hotel. It is 70 miles from Louisville and was a great "getaway" when the children were young. A two-day respite but not too, too far away. The exterior is a lot the same, but the interior has been spruced up to go along with the new casino built next door on a little pond. Years ago, evidently the mob from Chicago used to frequent the area for gambling and gamboling. Now it is all legal.
