This picture was taken in McKittrick Canyon during peak foliage color, which normally happens around the last week of October. The Bigtooth Maples thrive in the canyon, in spite of its location in the middle of the west Texas desert. The Park is actually very close to Carlsbad Caverns National Park across the border in New Mexico.
|I'm Jack, from Arlington, Texas. I enjoy scenic photography, especially in the National Parks of the West, but I'll gladly take photos of scenic places anywhere, and I enjoy seeing all the world's cool places on Wunder.|
