Great shot! My husband is a steam engineer, and I am on the engine maintenance crew of a steam engine and we really love these old machines. As a note, steam coming from the wheels doesn't always indicate braking action. I know on ours, there is ALWAYS steam coming from the cylinder cocks by the pony trucks (front wheels) that comes with the steam pressure that moves the rods that make the wheels turn. A big 10 for this great shot of a beautiful machine.

Thanks for the comment. It was really neat to see the steam when he blew the whistle, but I didn't manage to get a picture of that.
