Caption: A wild bus ride home today! High winds and heavy snow in NE Nebraska. Can't believe I'm actually out here driving, much less snapping pictures...

Yep, this photo just about sums it up - great capture! Nice composition, with the slightly askew, offset bus, and those diagonal wind-swept lines of snow... certainly AC imagery for this Weather Underground site!

Thanks everyone - the conditions were brutal out there; to the point of not being able to be outside for more than a couple of minutes! Its really a dangerous storm. I'm sure the bus made it ok - they definitely know what they're doing!

Good shot! I've been caught on the highway in situations like this and it is really scary. Esp when in a light colored vehicle. Thankfully those buses are more visible, but I would not want to be on it. Hope all arrived home safe.

Wow! this makes me want to shiver just looking at it. I can feel that wind. We have the wind, but very little snow now, in Taos NM. We're supposed to get what you are seeing there. Sure hope so even if it is a whiteout. We desperately need it, so we'll take all we can in any form.
mindi, (BEME) #3 above says she is doing Snow Dances for us now!! Hope that works. Thank you for this series.
