Superb! This has a serenity and an approachableness (is that a word?) that beckons the viewer to walk that strip of beach - at least in our dreams. Lovely capture.
Thank you for your comments and feed back. The scene is a little deceptive. The road follows a natural break water and on the other side it was windy with big waves.
Hi Gary - your photos continue to amaze me. Is this a lake, or an arm of the sea? This one has even more of an air of mystery with the mists in the background. Thanks for making the Avalon Peninsula region of NL better known. - Jim
Thank you both for your comments and feed back. This would be an arm of the sea. Its in an area known as the Irish loop and as the name suggests it was settle mainly by mmigrants from Ireland (in the late 1600's and early 1700's)
