Thank you. The power of wind and waves fascinates me, and I enjoy the beach when both are present. :)

Thank you everyone! I was mesmerized by the incredible wave action under the pier. I will return again when the weather is more camera friendly, when I can leave the camera exposed enough to try different settings, etc., instead of a couple quick point and shoot shots due to the air filled with water spray and sand. I went home feeling like I'd been sandblasted. :)

I appreciate all the comments this image has received. I am humbled that so many like it. I added this pier to my growing list of favorite spots. I returned today but the gates across the indrive were locked, which made the whole beach area around the pier inaccessable to the public. But I will return -- they can't keep me out indefinitely! :)
