Excellent photo. I am from Iowa, and we have a lot of these around. I saw one of the props being hauled northward by semi, and they are HUGE! I would have never believed they were that large. It took me a bit to fugure out it was not a full-sized sculpture of a whale--lol--but rather a propellar for a wind station.

About gon2k9z

Currently living in Somis, CA near Camarillo. I had been visiting this site for some time to check the weather, but didn't discover this incredible world of photography on the site until late 2010. I was bitten by the digital bug, and can't get enough of it! After using my iPhone &/or my husband's Rebel, I finally got my very own digital camera (Canon SX40) I'm thankful to everyone for their encouraging words on my photos, and welcome any criticism for this 'newbie' have created a monster! I enjoy traveling the world through the photos posted here...and I don't even have to pack a bag. Thank you all. Christina
