WOW GIL!! I've heard of Once In A Blue Moon,,but not a PINK ONE!!! Very COOL SERIES!!!! BIG CONGRATULATIONS ON THIS ONE!!! I keep hoping for rain for you folks in the S/W of the country. The govt. SHOULD have made those canals/diversion piplelines years ago after building dams!!! Then we could send all this excess water your way!! Keep up the great work!!!:))

Isn't it amazing what wildfire smoke can do! This is really lovely!

We don't see the moon in a dark sky in summer here, so though we have wildfires and smoky skies, THIS is a real wonder in my eyes!

Congratulations on this awesome AC!

Congratts on this shot. It's hard to imagine that the smoke from down there has this much effect on our sky up here. Without a cloud in the sky it is a gray color and the sunsets are sooo red long before the sun goes down. It almost looks foggy in the distance. Makes for some unusual scenics. 10 from SW Iowa

A wonderful photo. At first I thought it was a lunar eclipse, but then I realized the tone of the moon was very unsual.
So sad that such a beautiful sight is a result of the fires in Ariz.
