Taos, NM (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: How in the world did all these pieces get put together? Every place you look on these walls, you see Boulders that are just ready to tumble down. About 20 years ago, this trail used to be a highway. Too many slides, and they just abandoned the highway.

Looks like a great puzzle - and in some places the pieces only fit together loosely - no wonder there have been rockslides that buried parts of the old highway.
