Beautiful , Gil !
What a coincidence - arrived in SF this day in the late afternoon , but missed this gorgeous sunset - wrong hotel location, I guess.
CONGRATULATIONS on your blue frame !

Man, I don't get on here for 3 days and you're already racking up more AC's left and right, Gil!! :D This one sure deserved it---rather wild looking clouds!

This was the night. Oct 24, and we were headed to Albuquerque, after stopping at Santa Fe for a bite.
I didn't know about the Auroras happening til the next day. That is very rare for us down this far, tho I have seen a reddish glow over the mountain tops a couple times in past years.
I always look at Spaceweather for photos of them, but been too busy, I just glanced thru, and only looked at a couple photos, should go check at least the SFe one if it's still there. Thank you very much.

Great sunset!!!! Was this the night Santa Fe saw the Northern Lights. Spaceweather.com posted pictures from several locations, including SF, NM when the massive CME hit earth.

I live in Southern NM and the skies here are magical.
