Dunnellon, FL (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Under stormy skies, these old charcoal kilns stand as a timely reminder of another era. Not too long ago, kilns were used to manufacture charcoal. I have always admired these interesting structures on our drive down US 41 through the small town of Romeo, FL. Located between Morriston and Rainbow Springs.

About gatorgal

gatorgal

My passion is photography. I love the natural areas, parks and preserves that are still a part of Florida. A resident of Gainesville since 1982, University of Florida employee, and enthusiastic photographer of nature and wildlife. I enjoy viewing and visiting places through your images and series. Photography is such a wonderful way to express yourself artistically and share the world around you. All comments and opinions are welcome. Marijka Willis gatorgalpics on Flickr
