Amazing sight. I thought they migrated. I guess they do when there is no open water.

Amazing to catch the white reflections of snow along the banks, also. Great touch

This poor cold heron obviously didn't get the memo about meeting Biskitten for a photo shoot in the Melbourne FL tree today. Quite a weather contrast with herons in the same weather gallery. Brrr...

About gardner48197

3/2015: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just I hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
