Caption: While they may look grumpy and need their morning coffee, they are really only playing. Neither animal actually bites. Just fun morning games in the freezing cold. This is Jack and Orphie ~ two of our rescues.

Leslie-I love this, it made me laugh this morning, and they look so cute, not mean at all. They appear to be having a lot of fun with the horse play. And I love the Goat Nursery! Keep them coming. Karen

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2014 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
