Thank you Gil and Kat.
Kat you should visit sometime. It is very beautiful in the South, we don't have snow but can walk around in shorts on some January days :)

Another beautiful series, Leslie! I love
seeing your part of the country..it's so
different from mine. I've never been to
the South. The farthest I got was the
Outer Banks of North Carolina. You make
it tempting to do a Southern road trip!

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2014 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
