Great perspective ! That building already got hitted by lightning 15 times in 15 minutes :P So lightning can hit twice if it already hitted an area.

We had about 24 hours of New York so two evenings worth of pictures. Thank you so much. Things are still quite a mess with the family issue but we are receiving many prayers and they are greatly appreciated and needed. Thank you all.

Sorry your honeymoon was cut short, but you sure squeezed in some amazing sights while you were there.

Hope all is ok with your family emergency!

Thank you Heidrun. We had a great 24 hours there. We arrived Thursday evening and were called back home for an emergency on Friday evening. However, in that 24 hours we saw some beautiful and thrilling sites. We will have to continue our honeymoon at another time, right now Durward's family needs us here in Alabama.

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2015 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
