Sunday November 8, 2009 Sitka, AK (Current Conditions)

The late afternoon sun lights up the fresh snow on the highest peaks east of Sitka. The ridges in the foreground were in the dark, as low clouds over Sitka Sound blocked the light. The highest peak is possibly Mt. Bassie.
