Martin, ND (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I have never seen as many sundogs in a whole winter as the amount I've seen thus far this winter! Temp was -19 but the windchill was only about -37 as comparison to yesterday's -54 for us! Need a weather category for sundogs!

Yes, we had one on Friday and another on Monday. A friend of mine even caught a sundown sundog later Monday evening, but I don't have a good view of the horizon from my house. It was only -9 here.

About bbend

bbend

From the small town of Martin, which is located in central North Dakota. I keep busy with commercial painting, grow small fruits and vegetables for sale, am the city assessor for Martin and I'm the new American Family Insurance agent in Harvey. Lots of stuff to learn in my new endeavor! One of my hobbies is taking pictures, which hopefully will dispel some misguided ideas that ND is a boring, flat, and always cold and snowy state!
