this is a great weather series, sadly, I've heard it may have been arson.......some of our local firefighters are there including my granddaughters fiancee.......god speed to all and stay safe. thanks for posting.

Satellite pix on morning news show the smoke plume reaches all the way to western Lake Superior.
I didn't see any different colors in the sunrise.

Thanks for posting this great series of this fire. We are getting heavy smoke at times last few days at Taos NM, N.Central NM. Sometimes visibility is about 3 miles, but not as bad as Albuquerque & Grants areas.
I have posted some smoke & very red sun each day for last 3 days. One is on VIP gallery.
