Lomita, CA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Well, I just got home about an hour and a half ago (now 2245 PDT) from an event celebrating the first Annual International Observe The Moon Night here in the Los Angeles area at the venerable Griffith Observatory! So what would IOM Night, as I call it, be without a picture of the Moon to commemorate the occasion! Shot this thru my 80mm f/5 Orion ShortTube Refractor and mt Canon EOS T1i camera set at ASA400 for 1/1000 sec exposure. The Moon rather looked like an egg tonight!! Enjoy!!!
