Looks like the mild December will continue here... for a while at least.
Here is what local (somerset UK) weather site cloud 9 weather his to say:

Update: 12 Dec 19:34 Becoming more unselled and windy
Becoming more unsettled, with storm systems to the north of the UK allowing winds to increase in to next week. It will remain mild or very mild right through up until, and probably beyond Christmas, still with little appreciable rainfall.
Signs of even more unsettled, windier, wetter weather with slightly less mild conditions after Christmas up until the new year with a growing chance for a cold snap just before the new year, 2014 steps in.
At this stage there almost certainly will not be a 'white Chistmas' in Somerset, and only over three thousand feet in the north of Scotland in Britain. It is likely to be a 'Windy Chitmas' with a high possibility of brussel sprout consumption and beer!
There is growing confidence of something more seasonal for the last couple of days of 2013 in to 2014, with a shift in the jet stream to the south. A long way off but something well worth keeping an eye on. More on this over the weekend.

Gorgeous! So delicate! I love the moisture on the petals and the petal with a bit of pink on it.

About WurzelDave

WurzelDave

I'm a 'wurzel' who lives in South West England (UK) in the county of Somerset (next to Devon), famous for scrumpy cider, Cheddar cheese, The Wurzels (well worth going to see) & birth county of 2009 F1 world champion Jenson Button.Like the rest of the West Country, Somerset has many areas, places & landscapes worth a visit such as Glastonbury Tor & Abbey ruins, Quantock hills, West Somerset Railway, Cheddar Gorge, & Exmoor, to name but a very few.Favourite holiday destiations are Iceland (see alot of photos) & the Icehotel in Jukkasjarvi Sweden (also see photos). Still a lover of the flim camera, my first camera was an Halina 110 camera which you could buy flip flashes for! I have a Canon 3000V SLR film camera, also have some TLR cameras from the 1950's plus Canon powershot A3300 & SX150 digital cameras which are useful for close up macro shots & also makes film 'last' longer!
