The amount of sea foam generated by the high sustained winds is impressive as Hurricane Sandy floods the beach at Marineland Florida. You can see the palms in the background straining against the wind.

AC CONGRATULATIONS !!!
Stay safe!
stay safe and dry.
Congratulations on your AC & VIP.
Congratulations!
But a bad situation for the beaches. Especially this area that does not have much a beach to begin with.
Effective photography!!!
The sea spray was intense and covered the camera and cars. The waves are bigger than they look. I was in about 6 inches of water when the wave to the right soaked me from the waist down. The surprise is that the ocean is warm.
Hi gatorgal, always great to hear from you. The sensitive beaches at Marineland and Summer Haven are flooded, with some erosion.
