My first camera was a Brownie, then a box camera. I was probably about nine years of age. Over the years I learned the beauty of the sky. I was a weather observer in the Air Force in Spain and saw the sun setting and rising from the weather tower where I spent four years in the solitude of a weather observer. Sunrises are my favorite photographs, with the start of a day and new opportunities for pictures.
Reflections at the end of the day

Caption: A few times a year the sun is in the perfect spot to reflect off the buildings in Seattle. At this time of the year the odds are against it because of clouds. In sixteen years of observing the reflections it has never shown as bright as it has today. The moment will last only for a few seconds.
