Laura, the way you did the blues is outstanding! The scene is very, very well-composed and would be a winner even without the blueing. Very artistic! A big congrats on your AC. Thank you so much everyone. I am overwhelmed by all of your kind and encouraging comments.Incidentally, I did not use a blue filter in post processing, if I had the white on the stern of the boat would have a blue tint. I did, however take several versions of this shot using different white balance settings. Action: \| Ignore User

I love the water, rivers, oceans, muddy marshes all of it. I especially love being out in it. Obviously lots of you do too. Which is one of the reasons I love this site so much. Thank you for inspiring me to get outside more often and to bring my camera when I do. Thanks in advance for the email you send - it motivates me more than anything else. FAQ answer - yes, I do sail and have a 27' Pearson with a winged keel to clear the muddy shoals that are prevalent along the US Georgia coast. In the hands of an artist, the camera is the brush and Photoshop is the palette.
