I love this one too!!! Looking beyond to the frost encrusted fence,,and then what looks like foliage thru the falls,,makes for an interesting juxtaposition of climate and temps!! What a neat place!! Just imagining the sound of it too...I wonder,,this makes me think of the falls in the movie Last of the Mohicans...I understand alot of that was filmed in the N/C mountains???? Awesome [but sad] movie....

About Railheel

Railheel

My name is Gary and I'm a retired railroader. I have always enjoyed photography and now that I have the time I take lots of photos. My late wife of 40 years and I traveled from our home in Western North Carolina to her home in Ridgecrest Calif. one or more times a year. Our love is going to National Parks as we traveled this great land of ours. We have been blessed by seeing over 30 Parks showing Gods Wonders. WeatherUnderground allows me to visit across this country and around the world from my recliner.
