Oh no, Pati! I had no idea she was THAT sick! Like everyone else, I am shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. So glad to learn she is with the Lord -- one day there will be a big reunion of WUG people who may never have met face to face on this earth, but we will be friends forever in that place. Linda's work will not be forgotten, so talented as she was and as you still are, two artists who paint with the same brush. My prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. I have a sister who is 68 and I know how close they can be. I know you will miss her.

The tribute to your sister is beautiful. Please accept my sympathy. I am very saddened by her passing..During a period of time when I was unable to watch and photograph birds I would come here and look up her pictures they quenched my love of beautiful birds. She was one of my very favorite photographers here. I was so stunned and complimented when she sent me this message.

That is a major compliment considering that YOU were my inspiration when I first started posting to wunderground. You take the most amazing bird shots of anyone on this site! Patti, I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I have always been amazed at her stunning photography. She will be truly missed. May the Lord be with you and your family during this time, and may you all rest in the peace of Christ. Our prayers are with you. God bless.

I have always enjoyed your sisters photography and many are among my favorites. I send my condolences. She will be greatly missed. I echo everyone that she will be with us once again in the Resurrection and now she is truly the Winddancer.

I am so sorry Pati! I heard today and cried. I am still choking up and having trouble typing this little note. Linda and I wrote to each other often and I have had her on my prayer list for a long time, ever since she told me about her cancer. She was such a talented photographer just like you and your styles were like birds of a feather, literally speaking! She will be so missed here. I don't even have the words for what you are feeling. I have a sis too and could not imagine losing her at such a young age. You and your family are in my prayers Pati.
May the Lord's peace be with you and His face shine upon you! Always celebrating life no matter what and celebrating that your sister is in Heaven with Him!

I am so saddened by this loss of one of our own, someone we feel we "know" through the beauty of her unique "lens on the world". She gave us inspiration and brightened our days with her amazing way of looking at nature and our world. We will all miss her and I'm thinking of you, specifically, Pati. It is those left behind that have to work to mend the gaping hole left in our hearts when we lose someone we love so much. I'm wishing time and happy memories to work their healing magic on you, so that when you think of Linda, you will smile and laugh, thinking of the good times and crazy moments that sisters share. Take care.

I know that the birds are quieter and butterflies less fanciful these days without their photographic champion to creatively imagine how their images could be "just so" perfectly and in that instant of complete communication with each  subject, press the shutter with her her love and appreciation to capture for infinity their beauty and grace. Thank you for letting us share your loss for it is truly ours as well.

Lori, I can't find the right words to express my sorrow...I believe in my heart that we will all be together again in infinity. Bless you, dear soul.
