Omaha, NE (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I went out to shoot the dawn over the Missouri River this morning. There was lots of waterfowl about. I kept thinking this is something like what it must have been when Lewis and Clark came through here. Without the jets taking off, of course.

I am so glad we now have a Missouri River source in you, Larry. We have waters from many parts of the world/country, and glad to see the Missouri in your eyes. I am near the Connecticut River, but rarely have an opportunity to catch photos at a good time of day, or on a road where I can pull over. Sigh -

About LarryD

LarryD

I really enjoy this site. The wonderful photos I see here never cease to amaze, and inspire me. I look forward to reading the comments on my photos. I am inordinately pleased when I am awarded an Approvers Choice. I use Nikon equipment and am especially fond of macro photography. I continue to be astounded by the beauty in the miniature world visible though my lens. Additionally, I rarely have to venture very far to find interesting subjects. The Henry Doorly zoo is my favorite location. If you get to Omaha Nebraska. I highly recommend you spend some time at the zoo with your camera. Larry
