Hi – I’m Julia. My maiden name is Sandstrom. I’m married to Rick Von Bargen. We have 2 great kids, a giant German shepherd and a barn cat. I grew up in Lewiston, Idaho and will always claim it as my home town. As far as credentials, I earned a BA in Communications from WSU & graduated from the Broadcast Meteorology Program at MSU. My forecasts have earned Seals of Approval from the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. I’ve anchored weather for TV stations in Seattle, San Francisco, Spokane, Central Washington and Indianapolis. It all started at KLEW-TV in Lewiston. Thank you for visiting my blog. I am a total science geek. I love researching, learning and sharing weather info and pictures, especially for our beautiful Valley. Please feel free to add your pictures and weather information and feedback on this blog. I also invite you to check out http://juliasvalleyweather.blogspot.com/ for additional details on Lewiston/Clarkston weather and news headlines from around the Inland NW.
