such an awsome yet frightning photo. I'd love to see and get a photo like this myself; but of course from a safe distance and with knowing its not heading towrds me. lol I have a weather site here in Michigan. I think the word small is a major understatement for this photo. Just being as close as you are takes major guts. I have been within 2 miles of a tornado this appears to be a little closer than that. Great capture I hope you are alright. Major heart and prayers go out to those that were directly in line of the storm, and their families. The weather got started a little early this year.

Having survived an F3 tornado when I was 15, I can empathize with all who are affected by this latest, huge rash of tornadoes devastating our country. This is a great shot but I can't look at any more photos of tornadoes...I'm having a bit of PTSD right now! CONGRATULATIONS on your first photo being selected for the AC Gallery! I call that a "hole in one"!!
